BIO
A Skilled Music Producer
Candice (beatsbycandice) Mckinney was born in Greenville, SC. Candice then moved to Atlanta, GA with her mother Rhonda Thompson who is also a Songwriter/Musician evolved from the 80's at the age of 8, along with her siblings. Facing many challenges and adversity with homelessness, she managed to stay strong and presevere by doing what she loves most and that is making music.
Heavily influenced by the sounds of Super Producers: Timbaland, Missy Elliott and Dr. Dre, Candice began working with multiple software music programs at the age of 16. Lifes challenges, oppresion, poverty and her peers gave much influence to her craft which intrigued her to be in the studio heavily. 15 years later Candice went on to help develop her craft even more by attending AIU. But school abruptly came to an end as she came across more hardship. Like before, adversity only motivated her to work harder. BBC (beatsbycandice) chose to create a path for those who have been through just as many obstacles as she has but still finds a way to connect with the love to create great music.
